‘Empire’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 7 and Episode 8 titles and synopses revealed, what to expect in Episode 6
“Empire” Season 2 Episode 5 ended on a cliffhanger, with the kidnapping of Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) by a gang of thugs. When "Empire" returns this week with Episode 6, titled “A high hope for a new heaven,” Lucious(Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) are set to put aside their differences and team up for the sake of their family -- to find Hakeem.
Hakeem, who will be seen struggling with how to feel and act like a man, is likely to be found in Episode 6, as Episode 7 synopsis reveals that he will be seen moulding Laura (Jamila Velazquez) into a star. After the truce in Episode 6, it looks like it is back to business in Episode 7. Lucious will be seen thinking about teaming up with (Patrick Mulvey), the founder of a streaming music company, while Cookie will be trying to get Lyon Dynasty involved in a television charity concert.
Official synopsis of "Empire" Season 2 Episode 7, titled "True Love Never,": "Lucious explores the possibility of partnering with Jago as he maps out a plan to turn Empire into a global music monolith; at the same time, Andre struggles to find a balance between his newfound values and demanding career. Elsewhere, Hakeem molds Laura into a star; and Cookie pushes to get Lyon Dynasty involved in a major televised charity concert."
And the drama is set to get intense in Episode 8, titled “My Bad Parts,” as Lucious once again tries to assert his power. According to synopsis of "Empire" Season 2 Episode 8, "Battle lines are drawn when Lucious attempts to assert his power by releasing a rap by Freda challenging Hakeem as his heir."
"Meanwhile, Cookie's spitfire sister pays her a special visit; Jamal works on landing a major sponsorship deal; and Anika receives some life-changing news," Episode 8 synopsis reveals.
In upcoming Episode 6, Jamal will be seen trying to shed his "gay artist" tag.
The new episode of “Empire” Season 2 is scheduled to air on Wednesday, Nov. 04 on Fox in the U.S.
