Stuart Broad puts the last nail in the Australian coffin as he picks Peter Siddle up to help England have an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the Ashes.

This also means that England beats their arch-rival Australia to win the Ashes 2013. Stuart Broad gets the Man of the Match award for his outstanding bowling figures. Alastair Cook must be a proud captain whose bowlers never fail to rise to the occasion. On the other hand, Michael Clarke should continue to be worried about the feeble performance by his middle order batsmen that include himself.

The pitch was the hero of the match as it provided equal opportunities to both bowlers and batsmen to make it an exciting match of cricket. English batsmen played some of the important knocks, which helped their bowlers bowl on the attacking line.

The aggressive bowling by the English bowlers led by Stuart Broad was instrumental in the third win by England, which secured the series for them as well. English bowlers restricted Australia to 224 as the latter was all out falling 74 runs short of an exciting win.

It would never have been possible to win the test without England's batting effort. Alastair Cook was the highest scorer with his 51 on a challenging track which helped bowlers tremendously. A quick fire 49 by Jonathan Trott and 26 by Kevin Pietersen helped England finish at a fighting score of 238 in their first innings. Nathan Lyon took 4 wickets for Australia.

Australia batted well in their first innings to make 270 with the help of a century by the opening batsman, Chris Rogers. Stuart Broad took 5 wickets to restrict Australia from getting a decent lead. Ian Bell made a century for England in the second innings. It helped England reach 330.

With 299 runs to win the fourth test, Australia started brilliantly as its opening batsmen got them a strong start. Chris Rogers made 49 and David Warner 71. Things looked easier for Australia at that point of time. However, Broad had different plans. He took 6 wickets to snatch victory from Australia that fell just 74 runs short.

The final test is scheduled to start August 21 at The Kennington Oval.
