Southampton FC will host listless Crystal Palace FC on Saturday in the English Premier League at St. Mary's Stadium.

The Saints have been impressive early on, amassing 8 points after five games in the Premier League, to keep themselves within striking distance at the top 5.

Their form may be attributed to playing excellent defense, conceding only 2 goals in the process.

However, the supporters would love to see the team bag a victory at home, which they were not able to do, so far, this season.

Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino will have the luxury to select from an entirely healthy squad, while League Cup goalscorer, against Bristol City on Tuesday, Gaston Ramirez, is hopeful to have his first start in the Premiership.

"I am very happy with how the Bristol City game went. These games are very important for me to get my confidence back. Now I have to keep working and waiting for my chance in the league," Ramirez told premierleague.com.

Ramirez is hoping to get his first start for Southampton.

Meanwhile, Palace has found it hard to settle in after having been promoted from the Championship.

They have since won only one game against Sunderland on week 3 and are currently at 19th place.

Eagles goalkeeper Julian Speroni is not fazed by his team's circumstances and believes that it's the reality of being at the top-flight.

"There are no easy games in the Premier League," said Speroni.

"That's why we're here, to play against the best players in the world. It's going to be a tough game away from home but we're looking forward to the challenge."

Jonathan Williams (ankle), Jack Hunt (ankle), Yannick Bolasie (hamstring), and Glenn Murray (knee) are all out due to injuries. Patrick McCarthy, Jonathan Parr, and Speroni may feature for Palace.
