Number two meets second from bottom as Liverpool takes on their next assignment, Crystal Palace, while Fulham clashes with Stoke City on matchweek 7 in the English Premier League.

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace

Liverpool had their unbeaten run in the Premier League halted by Southampton on matchweek 5 but was quick to bounce back against Sunderland, coming up with a 3-1 victory.

Luis Suarez accounted for two of their three goals which were both assisted by Daniel Sturridge, who also netted one for himself.

The Sturridge-Suarez strike partnership was seen for the first time in the league and it immediately made an impact, which is a positive thing to look forward to for the Reds as they hope to secure a top four spot to clinch a Champions League berth.

Crystal Palace will be looking to improve their dismal performance since gaining promotion to the League.

Along with five other teams, Palace has the least scored goals in the League with four in six games.

Goal scoring will be the main concern coming into the match as they have yet to score in their recent three games in the League.

Injured: Liverpool - Philippe Coutinho, Aly Cissokho, Sebastian Coates, Glen Johnson, Joe Allen, Lucas Leiva

Palace - Damien Delaney, Glenn Murray, Jack Hunt, Jonathan Williams

Doubtful: Patrick McCarthy, Yannick Bolasie

Suspended: Liverpool - Lucas Leiva

Forecast: Liverpool will be able to take control in midfield and create a lot of opportunities at goal with Suarez and Sturridge linking up. Palace will sit in front of their goal and take advantage of counterattacking situations.

Prediction: 2-0 for Livepool.

Fulham vs. Stoke City

Fulham has yet to win a game since they defeated Sunderland in their first outing in the League.

Lack of goals may be attributed to their poor form as the team has only scored a League low of four.

Dimitar Berbatov and Darren Bent could only account a single goal between them and will need to be on-target come Saturday, should they want to boost their chances of staying out of the relegation zone.

Stoke has struggled as of late after getting back-to-back wins and a draw.

They lost 3-1 to Arsenal on matchweek 5 and suffered a 1-0 squeaker in their most recent game against Norwich.

Like Fulham, the Potters have also been struggling in front of goal in the League.

Injured: Fulham - Maarten Stekelenburg, Matthew Briggs

Doubtful: Fulham - Ashkan Dejagah, Scott Parker, Aaron Hughes

Forecast: Stoke will be able to take advantage of set piece opportunities and dominate the aerial battle. Fulham will struggle to create chances but will capitalise on every opportunity handed to them.

Prediction: 1-0 for Stoke.
