A young woman from Norwich, England identified on Twitter as Emma Way may now be cursing under her breathe why she ever tweeted in the first place her supposed "rightful" knocking down of a cyclist as potential charges could be filed against her.

There is no way for her to deny that she knocked down a cyclist on the afternoon of May 19 because her tweeter rant got the ire of other motorists, retweeting it several times until it landed right smack on the hands of the Norwich police.

Ms Way for sure definitely did not foresee getting invited by the police. Norwich police does not only read Twitter, they also maintain an active account.

Working as a trainee accountant for accountancy firm Larking Gowen, it was discovered that Ms Way was a very poor driver.

According to ipayroadtax.com, Ms Way had been taking self-photos and then upload them on her Facebook page. She took self-photos while tailgating other motorists. She even had a photograph of her speedometer that showed a speed of 95mph.

The knocked down cyclist, 29-year-old Toby Hockley, was thankful he was still alive after the incident.

"A car came tearing round the blind corner and narrowly missed a cyclist in front of me," Mr Hockley told the BBC. "She came on to my side of the road, I took the wing mirror off and I went flying off my bike into a hedge."

"She hit me hard, really hard. I am lucky to be alive."

Apparently ashamed of the attention she has now gathered, Ms Way has deleted her account. She has also been suspended from work.

Mr Hockley said he planned to keep quiet about the accident because he didn't want his girlfriend to worry, until he found out that Ms Way herself tweeted the incident.

"She put a stupid remark on Twitter and it all got out of hand," an unidentified pal of Ms Way was quoted by The Sun.
