Esquire named Minka Kelly, the "Sexiest Woman Alive" in its November 2010 issue. Minka Kelly is former Friday Night Lights actress who played Lyla Garrity in the NBN TV series. She is the only daughter of Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay.

"She's beautiful. She's athletic. She's worked gunshot wounds as a surgical nurse. She can act. And you've already fallen in love with her, back when she was a cheerleader," Esquire said..

As Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive, Kelly does not seem to fear "growing up". Minka turned 30 last June. She told Esquire her excitement for a new decade in her life.

"I think it's the most exciting birthday I think I've ever had."

"I'm so excited to be a woman. Done with the twenties."

"I'm confident...in my skin, and I'm cool with my flaws and all that stuff. It just feels nice to be at peace with yourself. I think my thirtieth birthday gave me permission to have all that."

For those familiar with Hollywood smash hit (500) Days of Summer, Kelly plays Autumn whom the protagonist Tom meets in the end of the film. She will be next seen The Roommate as Sara opposite New York Gossip Girl star Leigh ton Meester.
