Kendall Jenner just landed a prestigious Estee Launder contract, and her family cannot be prouder of her. The young model recently took time to answer questions about her family and what she feels about her parents' split.

Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner already shared what they felt about their divorce. Their daughter Kendall, who's currently very busy with her budding modeling career, still has to share what she truly feels about her parents' separation.

In an interview with ABC's "Nightline," Kendall Jenner shared that even though she is sad that her parents had to split up, everything worked out for the best and everyone is happy with the way things currently are. Kendall said that while it was not easy for her to see her parents' separation play out in public, she refuses to see the recent events in her life as negative.

"It sucked, but it's not -- I try to think of it as it's not the worst thing that could have happened," she said. She added that she remains very close to both her father and mother and that nothing really changed except that she now has a dad that lives on a beach, which, for her is quite awesome. At the end of the day, the divorce is not really that bad and everyone is happy, she shared.

It could be remembered that Esther Jenner, or Bruce's mother, expressed in a tell-all interview how happy she also is that Kris and Bruce divorced. Esther even said that Bruce has more freedom now to do what he likes, since he's now free from Kris' controlling ways.

Meanwhile, the fresh-faced Jenner also shared on "Nightline" how close she was to her family, especially to her father, growing up. Bruce Jenner was reportedly almost like her hero when she was younger and shy back then. She shared that her father would pick her up late at night during sleepovers with friends when she got homesick, which was all the time. Her father, an Olympic gold medalist, also lent her his talent at the track and field. Bruce was reportedly her main coach for the high jump and he taught her a lot of technical stuff about it. According to Kendall, it eventually paid off because she ended up being the number one high jumper of her school.
