FC Bayern Munich, which won their first outing in the Euroleague, will be hosting Montepaschi Siena on gameweek 2 of the Euroleague at the Audi Dome.

While Bayern produced 94 points in their recent win and with Siena able to come up with only 75 in a losing effort, Svetislav Pesic knows that the latter are still a threat and that the fixture should not be taken lightly.

"Montepaschi Siena is a big name and one of the best teams in Europe. They have got a very athletic team, which prefers a fast type of playing with an excellent transition," Svetislav told euroleague.net.

"We have a lot of respect for our opponent, but we want to extend our winning streak and we will fight with heart and passion."

Munich forward Chevon Troutman has already familiarised himself with Siena during his stint in Italy and knows that they are a proud team.

"Siena is a quality team with a huge tradition. I´m expecting a hard battle, because I already played against them in the Italian league. They were always very difficult to beat - every time. We will come out there and do the best we can."

Meanwhile, Montepaschi coach Marco Crespi realises that the German side is driven by ambitions, and playing in front of their fans makes it all the more difficult.

"We will play a Euroleague game away from home on the court of a team that wishes to become one of the European top teams in a short-term period," said Crespi.

"Munich is leading the local championship which is continuously improving and developing and whose goal is to become the most important league in Europe within the next 3 years."

"It is team that loves to run and to take advantage of its big guys ' touch at half court. Spencer is a key player for us and his injury obliged us to think about different types of quintets."
