Longoria was promoting her cook book, “Eva’s Kitchen: Cooking With Love For Family and Friends” when she visited Letterman’s evening show.
"I wore a tuxedo for you," Longoria said as she sat down on David’s sofa.
"Or part of one," Letterman replied as seen in the video posted on YouTube.
The actress then made a remark on how she was advised to come in on Letterman’s show wearing … nothing.
"This is for you," she said. "They said 'Don't wear a shirt, you're going to see David.'"
And following the advice received, she came to show without a shirt or a bra.
Half-way done with the interview, the actress’s top burst open several times.
"Oh lord," Letterman exclaimed during his chat with Longoria. "We're going to lose our liquor license, I know it."
"You didn't see anything!" Longoria said laughing as she tried to button her top up to not appear embarrassed, as if nothing happened. Or seen.
