Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling Become Parents Of A Baby Girl -- Reports
It is a baby girl. Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are now proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, according to several media reports. The couple, however, has yet to make an official announcement. These two never confirmed reports about Mendes' pregnancy, as well.
Citing confirmation from multiple sources, Us Weekly is reporting that Mendes, 40, and Gosling, 33, welcomed their daughter on Friday, Sept. 14, 2014. Us Weekly confirmed in July that the couple was expecting their first child. E! News has also confirmed the news. It is reporting that Mendes gave birth to the baby girl in Los Angeles.
"Eva is so happy she's a mom, their baby girl is perfect! They are at home now with the baby and Eva is feeling great she says," a source said to E! News. The source added that both Gosling and Mendes were in tears when they saw their little girl for the first time, as it was an emotional moment for them.
Hollywood Life is reporting that the baby girl looks like her mother. "Everyone is saying the baby looks like Eva and has her features," according to a source.
Mendes and Gosling reportedly started dating in Sept. 2011. They came close while filming the crime drama film "The Place Beyond the Pines." The same year, Gosling told The Times, as quoted by Us Weekly, "I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies. When someone comes along, I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies."
According to reports, Gosling was a doting would be father, as he cooked meals for Mendes. Before the birth of their daughter, he had "stepped into the role of caring father-to-be," Us Weekly reported. A source had said to People that the couple's life completely changed after Mendes got pregnant, as she rarely left the house. Before her pregnancy, the couple used to travel a lot and go on hikes with their dogs.
It looks highly unlikely that Mendes and Gosling will be releasing a statement confirming the news.
