After the long wait and agitation saying the release would never come because of the added iOS 7 security, the evasi0n team has finally delivered a new, shiny jailbreak tool for all devices that run iOS 7.0 to 7.0.4. Is it time to jailbreak your device, though? Many say it maybe not.

Fans really knew that a jailbreak for iOS 7 was going to arrive eventually but it surely didn't make the wait any less eternal for many. Apple's latest iOS update added lots of new things that typically, jailbreakers can install soon as they are allowed to. To some people, there will probably not come a time that jailbreak will be totally unnecessary. Good news is the evasi0n team came through and delivered the update to free your iDevice using a very simple tool.

For users running any recent version of the iOS 7, they will be able to take advantage of the evasi0n tool. All they need to so is plug in their device to the computer, disable their lock screen, run the program and after all is said and done your device will be jailbroken. Unfortunately, the evasi0n team did not work with Saurik to include an updated MobileSubstrate or Cydia but a quick look at his Twitter feed suggests that the wait won't be long for it.

The jailbreak from the evasi0n team includes something new for the Chinese markets. Rather than Cydia, the users will be given access to all the Chinese TaiG store, which is designed to offer apps and services that are more relevant to this part of the world, much like the CyanogenMod team intending to do Tencent in the future. Some early look at this new store shows several pirated apps but the evasi0n team explains their plans of dealing with these apps in the future to their followers.

For those who are set to jailbreak their devices, all the tools are available for them to jump in to and enjoy. For those who are more interested in waiting for Cydia to be bug-fixed or updated, they can keap an eye on Saurik's twitter account for updates and more details.
