The 41st edition of American Music Awards will be broadcasted live on ABC on Nov. 24 at the Nokia Theater L.A Live in Los Angeles and this event will give honor to the most popular artists and albums of the year.

The awards will show live from 8pm EST, fans from all over the world may have to settle for live streams.Here are the lists of things you need to know before watching one of Music's most prestigious events.

Nominations

For this year's nominations, new comer Macklemore and Ryan Lewis leads with six nominations followed by Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift with 5. Pink, Rihanna and Taylor Swift are nominated for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist while couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert is both nominated for Favorite Country male Artist and Favorite Country Female Artist respectively.

Maroon 5, Bruno Mars and Pink are nominated for Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist and for Favorite Alternative Artist; Imagine Dragons, The Lumineers and Mumford & Sons are all nominated for the category. Marc Anthony, Prince Royce and Romeo Santos are nominated for Favorite Latin Artist while Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines, Rihanna's Unapologetic and Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience are nominated for favorite Soul/R&B Album.
