One of the major changes expected of the iOS 7 is the homogeneity of the design, particularly in the apps department. This speculation came once Jony Ive took the lead as human interface chief, which propelled the rumors of not only a similar look for all apps, but an overall redesign.

Following this, many concept video makers and curious individuals have also put their talents to use and started to create their own image and version of what they think the redesign for the iOS 7 will mean.

Among them is Philip Joyce, who was featured in MacLife for his version and concept video for the iOS 7 apps.

"I don't know many people who think iOS is fine as it is," said Philip Joyce, Simply Zesty art director, to MacLife. "Even the die-hard Apple fans know it needs a shakeup, especially with Android coming on leaps and bounds."

Basing his concept design on the past rumors, as well as experimenting with other sections and features of the iOS as it is now, Joyce created the video below, pushing for a cleaner edge finish to the look and putting his version of the flat concept for apps into a video.

AirDrop: The new way to share Mac files

AirDrop is one of the features that make having a Mac product easier, as you can transfer files without the need for Internet connection, or other setups.

And it seems that this may be one of the killer features that will be spearheading the iOS 7 when it releases. According to MacObserver, reports from anonymous sources have hinted that the AirDrop feature is available in the iOS 7 testing via the Share menu.

The AirDrop feature is pretty much similar to a DropBox feature, without the need for a Wi-fi connection. As long as both devices have the feature installed and are on the same network, you can simply drag and drop the files into each other's folder.

This would be a welcome change in the file sharing system, and can be a great way to persuade non-iOS users to make the switch. However, this does not immediately mean an application on the actual iOS 7.

With the iOS 7 slated for a sneak peek at the WWDC this June, hopefully some of these rumored features will actually come to light.

Improving Siri

Given that the iOS will be experiencing a major overhaul, many are also expecting that Siri will have better features to match the progress of the OS.

Not long ago, Mashable reported about the integration of Siri and Apple Maps into cars, stating that Siri Eyes Free for cars can be better improved once the next OS, the iOS 7, comes out.

Apart from improving Siri's features in this category, its integration and compatibility with other car models can be a huge step for users, especially if you can link Siri to your car and, say, hands-free communication and sociability while driving.

This can put Apple on the map as the fully-integrated device in your life, so whether you are mobile or in your homes, you can keep connected, albeit in a safe way.

There is also talk about Siri's integration with music, which can coincide with the upcoming iRadio. Gotta Be Mobile reports that, while Siri does not yet have the capability of controlling music services, Apple's new iRadio may be able to change that.
