Australia battles the worst wildfires that have hit the country terribly. Australian Fire Services claimed that several parts of New South Wales are suffering from the worst conditions in the past 40 years.

Australian Wildfires

Currently, Australia suffers from one of the most dangerous forms of weather conditions that have worsened due to hot weather with heavy winds.

About 58 fires are reported being burned across New South Wales. 14 of these are claimed to be uncontained. Because of rapidly increasing danger even the military personnel have been put on the spot to battle the dangerous wildfires in Australia.

A state of emergency prevails in the NSW region as declared Sunday. A recent update has brought out the news of three fires now raging in Blue Mountains at Lithgow, Springwood and Mount Victoria.

Expected Dangers

Authorities warned of unparalleled dangers with a potential of megafire spreading across hundreds of kilometers if the three wildfires combine in Blue mountains.

Recent news noted the cost of insurance claims due to the wildfires at NSW may exceed $100 million. Recently, victims of the wildfires have made some 855 claims worth $93 million and more claims are expected.

Today, more than 200 homes have been completely destroyed by the wildfires and more is expected by Wednesday.

If the raging fires in NSW will not be contained in time, this is seen to cause a massive danger for the entire region. Wildfires are expected to max out Wednesday as the temperature increases.

On Sunday, a warning was issued to Sydney residents as the conditions worsened. Investigations are still going on as the police are identifying the people who have started the fire.

Earlier, an 11-year-old boy was charged for starting two fires. There were three other children accused for the crime. Another 15-year-old is expected to be held this afternoon.
