Renee Zellweger has been out of the public's eye for quite some time. The first time she reappears, no one recognises her! Instead of looking like the fresh-faced actress that she was in the first "Bridget Jones" movie, her face looks taut. The 45-year old actress looked so different that some even mistook her as Cameron Diaz. It's not all positive reception -- fans were shocked and experts were convinced the actress had multiple surgeries done.

A top plastic surgeon said the actress may have undergone the knife on several parts of her face. According to Professor Dr. Fuat Yuksel, a surgeon from Longevita "it's apparent that she has undergone a number of subtle cosmetic procedures to change the appearance of her face."

The doctor shared to Mirror Celebs that, "Renee has undergone some facial procedures to contour the shape of her face including, fillers around her nasolabial folds and cheeks to give her face a fuller appearance, plus botox around the brow area to tighten her skin and make it appear more youthful."

In fact, he's also convinced that more has been done. He thinks the actress also had a blepharoplasty, which includes both eye bag removal and lid reduction, so that her eyes and face will look more open. The doctor explained that Renee in her youth had heavier eyelids. Had these surmised procedures not been done, she would have a more droopy and tired appearance today.

Her face shocked her fans. One user took to Twitter to ask what happened to the actress as all traces of Bridget Jones are gone. While another questioned: "What has happened to Renee Zellweger's face? She doesn't even look like the same person?"

Mirror UK claims that obviously, the fans are mourning the loss of Renee's fresh face, when she was playing Bridget Jones.

A spokesperson for Renee has already been contacted for an official comment but Hollywood Life already reported that the actress does not care about the reactions to her face. A source reportedly told the site that the actress got bothered initially but her boyfriend, Doyle, reassured her and now everything is already fine.
