Extant Recap: Wish You Were Here [WATCH VIDEO]

Steven Spielberg's "Extant" starring Halle Berry is about Molly Woods, an astronaut who returned home pregnant without knowing how it happened and who or what the father of her baby is. "Extant" premiered on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 on CBS (9:00 p.m. Eastern/8:00 p.m. Central) with the Pilot episode titled "Re-Entry." After that, the second episode "Extinct" aired on July 16, 2014. The latest episode is "Wish You Were Here" (Season 1, episode 3) which was aired on July 23, 2014. Read on to learn more about in the "Extant" recap below.

"Extant" Season 1, episode 3 "Wish You Were Here" was directed by Holly Dale and written by Mickey Fisher. Goran Visnjic (John Woods), Pierce Gagnon (Ethan Woods) and Camryn Manheim (Sam Barton) star alongside Berry in "Extant." Here's what happened in this particular episode. Molly's husband John, wants to throw her a birthday party. But, Molly is a bit distracted because of her inexplicable pregnancy. After finding out in the previous episodes that she is pregnant, Molly is conflicted because she can't decide if she will reveal it to John or not. However, John confronts her when he noticed that she is acting weird and distant. Finally, Molly tells him the truth about her mysterious pregnancy after coming back from space. She blamed the International Space Exploration Agency, or ISEA as the one who caused it to happen, even if they both thought that she is already infertile.

Meanwhile, Molly and John also faced some problems with other parents at their son Ethan's school. During the orientation, some parents don't want their kids to be near an artificially intelligent android.

Molly also told John about seeing Tim and Marcus. As for ISEA, they assembled a team to raid Molly and John's home, but they found it empty.

Aside from the main cast, "Extant" Season 1 Episode 3 "Wish You Were Here" also featured Sergio Harford (Marcus Dawkins), Tyler Hilton (Charlie Arthurs), Alisha Boe (Brynn Hendy ), Arlen Escarpeta (Tim Dawkins ) and Lila Dupree (Lena).
