"Face Off" Season 6 premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014. "Face Off" is a reality television (TV) game show about 15 prosthetic makeup artists competing against each other to create special effects makeup for horror films and science fiction movies. It is shown on the SyFy cable network. The first season of "Face Off" was shown in Jan. 2011. Check out the video above for a sneak peek of the said episode.

The judges for "Face Off" Season 6 are Academy Award winning makeup artist Ve Neill ("Mrs. Doubtfire," "Beetlejuice," and "Ed Wood") who is currently working on "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay," TV and film creature and concept designer Neville Page ("Avatar," "Star Trek," "Watchmen," "Cloverfield" and "TRON: Legacy") and actor and special effects makeup artist/designer Glenn Hetrick ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Angel," "Heroes," "CSI: NY," "X-Files ," "The Hunger Games," "Legion" and "The Prestige").

McKenzie Westmore will host "Face Off" Season 6 and Michael Westmore will be the mentor in 2014.

According to SyFy, "Face Off" Season 6 is the "boldest and most extreme season to date."

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" makeup artist Ve Neill talked about the contestants of "Face Off" Season 6 and the challenges they had to go through.

"I think we have some amazing artists this year," said Neill in an Entertainment Weekly (EW) report.

"They did incredible creations, far beyond anything we've seen before on the show. It's going to be a great season," she added.

Neill also talked to EW about working with "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.

"They're all wonderful to work with. Jennifer [Lawrence] and Josh [Hutcherson] are absolute dolls. It's nice to have a group of actors who enjoy coming to work," said Neill in the Entertainment Weekly report.

Neill said that they had a lot of amazing challenges in the show, including an anime challenge in Tokyo. Plus, the contestants got to do wizards and dragons!

The winner of "Face Off" Season 6 will get $100,000 in cash, a 2014 Fiat and a VIP vacation from sponsor Kryolan Professional Make-Up. Makeup artist Laura Tyler won "Face Off" Season 5 in 2013.
