It's hard to judge any celebrity couple that was made in Hollywood. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman then was one of the most ideal couples in the industry, but it ended up to a divorce. Now, Tom Cruise may have thought that he would get it right the third time with 'Dawson's Creek' star Katie Holmes, but it shocked everyone again when news came out their marriage will also end in divorce.

All these news became more interesting when everyone online noticed the coincidence that all his former wives divorced him when they have reached the age of 33.

Mimi Rogers

This actress is the very first woman that the 'Mission Impossible' star married when he was only 24 years old and Rogers was older at 31. They tied the knot last 1987 and they separated when she turned 33 by 1990. The reason behind their divorce revolved around numerous rumours of fertility troubles and even Tom's career rising high that time.

Things became more controversial though when Rogers told Playboy Magazine in 1993 that Tom was giving it some thought to become a monk. Rogers was also the one who made Cruise a member of the Scientology religion that he is still very active in at the moment.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise got married in 1990 when the award winning actress was just 23 then. They were announced to be divorce by 2001 and Kidman was already 33. They have two adopted children who are 19 and 17 years old now.

The reason behind their separation also remain vague up to now but there were some rumours that often Cruise's religion was one of the many factors. But in a 2002 Vanity Fair interview, Kidman said that she realised she was missing a lot as an individual actress for she has always been linked to the persona of her hubby who is also a very popular name in the industry. She also felt glad that she can finally wear heels without hesitation for she is way taller than the guy.

Katie Holmes

These two got married in 2006 when Holmes was just 27 and now that they are separated in 2012, it just means that the young actress is also already 33. The two have managed to keep the reasons behind it very private but just like Kidman, the rumours say that Holmes wanted to be active again in the acting scene.

Holmes could not forget how much she dreamed of marrying Tom Cruise someday when she was still very little. The good thing is that dreams do come true, however, she forgot to dream about not divorcing the 'Rock of Ages' star.
