After months of being relatively subdued, Miley Cyrus is back in the limelight again, this time with reports of rekindling her romance with “Hunger Games” star Liam Hemsworth.

The 23-year-old singer took to Instagram and uploaded a selfie while wearing a green polka dot outfit with matching hat and a pink coat. While she poked fun of herself and what she’s wearing, what’s more noticeable is the diamond ring that she flaunted.

Those who saw the photo observe that the ring looks very similar to the one Cyrus received in 2012 from Australian actor Hemsworth. As reports swirled that the two are engaged again and even moving in together, the social media became a hub of their fans’ reactions.

Some of the couples’ followers expressed their elation over this latest development. Twitter user Erikaaadenver wrote, “Really happy about the awesome news congrats guys.” Another Twitter user, BrittanyRobey, said that she is happy for Miley Cyrus right now. Other Cyrus’ fans displayed their love for the singer through messages of support.

Meanwhile, other fans happily observe that Miley is looking like her old self again. Twitter user pennaaay wrote, “Ever since Miley got back with Liam she’s been cleaning herself up, no more naked pics on IG so far.” Another Twitter user, Phillyselenator, noticed that Cyrus seems like she’s settling down with her life again. Other fans show their appreciation for the singer’s “normal” appearance.

Both family and friends of Cyrus and Hemsworth have kept mum about the swirling relationship reports so far. Liam’s brother, Chris, denied any knowledge about the issue, when he guested on the Kyle & Jackie O Show on Tuesday morning. “Not that I know of mate,” Hemsworth said during his interview with the Australian radio show. “I find out last most of the time,” he added.

Prior to Cyrus’ Instagram post, the singer was seen at the JFK Airport with the same ring, according to US Weekly. Previous reports also claimed seeing the two together in various public events and places.

Cyrus and Hemsworth first started dating in 2009 while filming “The Last Song.” The two got engaged in June 2012 and even lived together for over a year. However, the celebrity couple broke off in September 2014.
