The best gift anyone can receive is the gift of life, and for Fantasia Barrino, Christmas definitely came early .

The Grammy-winning R&B singer welcomed a bouncing baby boy last Tuesday, December 13, at the Presbyterian Hospital in North Carolina. And E! Online has a name on Baby Barrino.

"Dallas Xavier Barrino arrived at 5:14 p.m. ET, weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and measuring 21 inches long," reported E! Online on the singer's second baby.

The "American Idol" season three winner had her first baby when she was only 16, giving birth to daughter Zion Quari Barrino, who is now ten years old.

E! Online also stated that Barrino did not comment on her relationship with Antwaun Cook, the father of baby Dallas Xavier, who was still married when he started seeing the American Idol winner. Although Cook was married, Barrino claims that the two have been separated before they began dating.

"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family. I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support." says Barrino proudly of her new bundle of joy, as reported by E! News.

Fantasia Barrino first rose to fame after singing in the third season of the hit reality TV series "American Idol" way back in 2004. She captivated the judges with her rendition of Tina Turner's "Proud Mary," which she also sang as her final performance song, receiving praise from all three judges including Simon Cowell. The judge claims Barrino just might be the best contestant to compete in the entire run of "American Idol," locally or internationally.

Aside from her musical career, she also started an acting career that started in theatre, more specifically the broadway musical "The Color Purple" based on the novel of the same name by Alice Walker, where she played Celie. Upcoming films include "Mahalia!" where she will play the lead role, and "For My Girls: The Clark Sisters."

Fantasia may not be blessed in terms of her relationship with baby daddy Antwaun Cook, but with Dallas Xavier Barrino in the picture, it looks like Fantasia is in for a warmer Christmas.
