‘The Fantastic Four’ Reboot Plot To Focus On Teleportation To Alternate Universe [Spoilers]
"The Fantastic Four" movie plot may focus on the team of scientists heading to an alternate universe, according to a new report. Here is a look at how the new movie may be different from the previous movie from the franchise. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]
The official synopsis of "The Fantastic Four" has appeared online. According to a report by RottenTomatoes, the plot of the movie will be about four young scientists teleporting to a dangerous alternate universe. The environment in the new universe will mutate the scientists' body and grant them superpowers.
The four young friends will need to quickly learn to harness their new powers in order to protect the earth from a new villain. The villain in the movie is a former friend of the four scientists who will turn their enemy over the course of the movie.
"The Fantastic Four" reboot is different from the 2005 movie about the four superheroes in the manner in which they get their powers. The 2005 movie had shown them to be explorers of space when a cosmic wave hits the spaceship, transforming their DNA. The expedition was funded by the character Victor Von Doom, who goes on to become the villain Dr. Doom in the movie.
Dr. Doom will also be featuring in "The Fantastic Four" reboot as the main villain. The name of the character in the new movie will be Victor Domashev. It is unclear how the character will be related to the four superheroes. The comic book villain is genius scientist and the 2005 movie showed him to be a billionaire visionary.
The cast of "The Fantastic Four" includes Kate Mara as the Invisible Girl, Miles Teller as Reed Richards, Jamie Bell as The Thing, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev and Tim Blake Nelson as Harvey Elder.
"The Fantastic Four" reboot is slated to be released on Aug 7, 2015 in the U.S. The release date information for Australia is still not available. The movie will be directed by Josh Trank, who is known for directing "Chronicle" and the TV show "The Kill Point."
