Music award shows like the Billboard Music Awards is one of the best ways celebrities experiment with fashion. From outrageous gowns to elegant and scene stealer dresses, these events give some of the best fashion inspirations.

Sunday Night's Billboard Music Awards is nothing new to this.

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez stole the red carpet spotlight. Swift was in a shimmering blue mini dress showing off her legs while Gomez was in a white gown. The neon piping right by the slit made her a complete head turner.

Ke$ha wore a short little black dress showing her assets just fine. This was the same trend spotted in Gwyneth Paltrow's dress during the "Iron Man 3" premiere. Madonna did not fail the audience as she grabbed one of the most daring get ups of the night. Putting on some bodysuit, fishnet stockings, garter belt and a fur-trimmed jacket made her stand out.

Miley Cyrus looked like she came out of "Alice in Wonderland" with her diamond patterned crocheted jumpsuit. The red carpet gives celebrities and other individuals the chance to show off their fashion preferences and statement. For an event as big as the BMA, the red carpet is a one big fashion show.
