Even if unbeaten boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr has an ongoing social media war with competitor Manny Pacquiao, he likely may ignore a dissing by a fashion police of his attire on Friday in Paris.

One Twitter member, Joanna Simkin, posted a photo of Mayweather wearing red boots and tops and compared him to 43-year-old R&B singer Mary J. Blige who appeared the previous day at the iTunes Festival in Camden, London, in a tiny top and leather pants.
With the two red items, Money May also donned a large brown vest and skinny jeans. In her tweet, besides comparing the boxer to Blige, Simkin also wrote:"Bout to tear down a performance of No More Drama."
Blige, a Grammy awardee, sang No More Drama at the festival, easily moving around the stage with ease in a five-inch ankle-length boots.
However, while Blige got away with her fashion statement, Mayweather didn't, wrote Bruna Nessif of Eonline.com. Nessif wrote, "Oh, Floyd. Those matchy-matchy boots just aren't doing it (and let's not even mention the fact that he was wearing rainboots on a clear day). His ensemble quickly caught the eye of the Internet."
But Nessif acknowledged that no one is exempt from a fashion faux pas, and Mayweather is not the first person who attempted to wear red boots but fail. She cited other examples like actor Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother? and actresses Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz and Jessica Simpson.
There had been so far no response from Mayweather about the diss, unlike his quick reaction to Pacquiao's comment on his staged All Access scenes.
