There are rumors that the elegant Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, will finally launch her own clothing line to further her effect on the fashion world. Is there any truth to this much-awaited happening?

Sources say that Kate Middleton's name and "brand" will be attached to the merchandise and clothing of the charity she supports, so no other company or group will use the royal's name without proper permission.

The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, a charity that the royal family has been putting their work and time into, will be the lucky ones to use Catherine's name and insignia for their products. Fashion followers of the Duchess will have to wait for princess-inspired clothing to come out officially.

As reported by Refinery29, a palace spokesperson spoke about the attachment of the Duke, Duchess, and Prince Harry's name in the foundation's merchandise, saying that it is to "protect the foundation against other people using its name illegally."

"We included clothing in case we choose, for example, to make t-shirts in years to come." added the spokesperson.

Based on the statements released, there is indeed a chance that the Duchess is on the path of creating her own fashion line. Though no royal has ever done that before, Catherine is known to not follow traditional royal customs. And since she is already a force and one of the most-followed icons in the fashion world, there might be a huge possibility.

So what should we expect from a hypothetical Kate Middleton fashion line? The first items that might come in mind would be nude shoes, coats, summer billowing dresses, hats, affordable items, and maybe a couple of high-end accessories as well.
