'Fast & Furious 7': A Fan Gives Paul Walker's Blue Toy-Car To Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel recently shared a touching photo, from the first red carpet event organised for the trailer of "Fast & Furious 7," on his Facebook page. The photo shows the actor giving his autograph on a film's poster, as a kid looks at him. The black and white photo also features a group of fans, who seem to be clicking photos of the actor. Diesel is seen wearing a pair of black shades in the photo.
The 47-year-old actor captioned the photo, "A kid who had travelled far, just to be there that Saturday morning, actually gave me a gift. It was a little blue toy car... he said it was Paul's car... naturally that moved me. Then he said with a kind of profound wisdom, "He is with you Dom... keep going."
The photo has already got 339,675 likes and several comments. Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in "Fast & Furious7," lost his friend and co-star Paul Walker in a car accident last year. The late actor was coming from a charity event when his car met with an accident. Walker's sudden demise left his friends, family and fans in shock. Diesel said during the trailer launch of "Fast & Furious," that after losing Walker he went through the darkest period of his life. The brotherhood that Walker showed was "something different," he said, as quoted by MTV. Walker's death was a difficult time or Diesel and for other "Fast & Furious 7's" actors.
The late actor had finished filming most of his scenes before his death. His brothers Cody and Caleb Walker finished his remaining scenes. This will be the last time that Walker will be seen playing Brian O' Connor on the screen. His character will retire in the film. The official title of "Fast & Furious 7"is "Furious7." James Wan has directed the film. It will pick from where "Fast & Furious 6" left off. The film also stars Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Dwayne Johnson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell and others. The film is slated to release in the movie theatres on April 3, 2015. The first trailer of the film can be seen below.
