'Fast & Furious 7': Jason Statham's Grim Expression In New Photo, Nathalie Emmanuel Looks Stunned In Another Photo
A new photo of Jason Statham has recently surfaced on "Fast & Furious 7's" official Facebook page. It shows Jason in a grim mood, as he stares at the camera while coming out of his car. The photo has been captioned as "Jason is ready!! And you?"
The actor seems to be dressed in a black jacket in the photo, which shows billboards in the background. Statham plays the role of Ian Shaw in the film. He is the brother of Owen Shaw, who was killed in the last "Fast & Furious" instalment. Ian will be taking revenge for his brother's death from Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his gang. Owen was the mastermind behind the crime squad whose mission was to bombard the entire capital of the United Kingdom.
Dominic fought him in "Fast & Furious 6's" climax. The intriguing scene showed Diesel and Luke Evans (Owen Shaw) fighting inside a Mercedes G463. Later, Dominic gets out of the car, and Owen is killed as the car flies out of the cargo area.
In the ending credits, Ian kills one of the Dominic' crew members (Han). He later gives Dom a call and tells the crew leader he is coming after him. This will be first time Statham will be seen playing an antagonist in the "Fast & Furious" film.
Meanwhile, in another photo shared on the Facebook page, Nathalie Emmanuel can be seen with an astonished expression. She is dressed in a black top and is standing beside a mesh window. The snap is titled as "Ready for Fast and Furious 7?"
Emmanuel plays the role Ramsey in the film. Digital Spy reports she will be sharing screen space with Vin Diesel, Chris Bridges, Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez. The site adds that her role in the film is being kept as a mystery, though it is known that she will be doing a lot of driving as she is a member of the street racers' gang.
"Fast & Furious 7," whose official name is "Furious 7," is where the late actor Paul Walker will be seen playing Brian O'Connor for one last time. The film is slated to be released in April next year.
