‘Fast and Furious 7’ Producers Start ‘Valley Run’ Campaign on Facebook
The producers of "Fast and Furious 7" have started a Facebook campaign to familiarise the readers with some of the characters in the upcoming movie. The fans of the franchise have been asked to share each post and reply with the correct answer. The story in the upcoming movie is a continuation from the previous movie.
The post on the official"Fast and Furious 7" Facebook page asked the fans to rev up their engines to prepare for the Valley Run campaign. The campaign was promoted with the hashtag "2015ValleyRun." So far the producers have asked the fans two questions about two characters that feature in the upcoming movie.
The first question was to name the character played by Dwayne Johnson in the movies from the franchise. The question got more than 7000 "likes," over 370 comments and over 100 shares. Fans of the franchise quickly said that the name of the character was Luke Hobbs. The most popular reply that was voted up to the top called the character "a two bit government hack."
The first official trailer of "Fast and Furious 7" showed Luke Hobbs to be the one introducing the new villain, Deckard Shaw. He is also seen fighting with the villain after taking off a plaster on his hand that is meant to heal a fracture. He is also seen firing a large Gatling gun on an unknown target.
The second question posed by the producers was to name the actor who played the role of Ian Shaw in the upcoming movie. The post got more than 7900 "likes," about 200 comments and over 80 shares. The fans of the franchise replied correctly that it was Jason Statham playing the villain in the movie this time.
Ian Shaw is the elder brother to Owen Shaw, a character that featured in the previous movie. Owen Shaw was a main villain in the previous movie and the character was played by Luke Evans. The plot of "Fast and Furious 7" revolves around Ian Shaw wanting to take revenge on Dominic and his crew for the death of his brother. The movie is slated to be released in April 2, 2015 in Australia.
