Fast and Furious 7 Production Update: Stars Pay Tribute Producers Say Thanks
"Fast and Furious" 7 production has finally wrapped up. The producers and the cast of the movie paid tribute to Paul Walker. The actor died in a car crash on Nov 30, 2013. The upcoming movie is slated to be released in April 2015.
Producers of "Fast and Furious" 7 thanked the veteran actors and some of the new comers in the movie for helping them complete the movie. The message posted on the official Facebook page of the movie also paid tribute to Paul Walker.
Some of the new comers in the movie mentioned by the producers include Jason Statham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Tony Jaa, Djimon Hounsou, James Bundy, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell. The producers also thanked the actors who have had a long relationship with the franchise; the actors include Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung, Gal and Lucas Black.
The producers also paid tribute to Paul Walker "thank you to Paul Walker without whom this saga would not have seen the day, the seventh [F&F] is a tribute to the great man he was" the Facebook post read.
Paul Walker was killed in a car crash involving a Porsche. The car reportedly hit a tree and burst into flames. The actor was riding in the passenger seat at the time of the accident. The filming of "Fast and Furious" 7 was incomplete at the time of his death.
Michelle Rodriguez posed a picture with Vin Diesel on her Instagram account. The picture had a message which seemed to be meant for Paul Walker. "this ones for you P I hope we make you proud love you" the message read. Click here to see the post.
"Fast and Furious" 7 was completed with the help of Paul Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody. The two brothers were able to step in for Paul Walker for some of the scenes. The producers could also use CGI and digital effects to fill gaps in the movie.
"Fast and Furious" 7 will be released on April 3, 2015 in the U.S and on April 10, 2015 in the UK. The release date information in Australia is not yet available. The movie is one of the highly anticipated by the fans of the franchise.
