The best-selling book by John Green, "The Fault in Our Stars," tells the story of two teenagers who fall in love despite knowing that it would not be happily ever after for them.

The book revolves around Hazel, played by Shailene Woodley, and Gus, played by Ansel Elgort. Both stars play the role of two cancer stricken patients who find that they are in love with each other. The two meet at a support group for cancer patients and slowly realize that they are falling in love with each other.

The movie adaptation is a far call from the books of Sparks. Green had wanted it to be written in such a way that people would not have to create a whole different group of people just because they had cancer, he wanted to show the world that these people also have their funny sides, their dark sides and their own thoughts even though they aren't as healthy as other people.

Fans call it the TFIOS, which currently has about nineteen million views on Youtube. The author, Green has about 2.4 million followers on Twitter as of the moment.

The movie is set to be released this Friday with fans all over the world excited about the team up of Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, who also star in "Divergent."

John Green had told the NYPost about the kind of book he had wanted to write, saying:

"I wanted to write a cancer story, but I wanted to write a cancer story that was very conscious of cancer stories. I don't think that the ill or the dying are fundamentally 'other' from the healthy. I think their lives have just as much humor and anger and frustration and excitement and joy as any other life."
