"The Fault In Our Stars" leads actors Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort recently sat down with Parade as they spilled some of the juicy details on filming John Green's book adaptation. Not their first movie together, Shailene and Ansel played brother and sister in the hit blockbuster movie "Divergent" and now filming its sequel "Insurgent."

The New York-born actor revealed recently that he almost lost the opportunity to star alongside Woodley when he was cast to play her brother. But thanks to his strong audition, he got the part to play Gus Waters in "The Fault In Our Stars" even if that means upgrading him from brother to boyfriend.

Now that they worked twice in a movie, Elgort only has good things to say about his co-star.

"She is a rare girl. And not just in this industry-I mean out of everyone I've ever met," he revealed in an interview with Teen Vogue. "She plays Hazel negatively in the beginning, which is not very Shailene at all. Then you see her open up because of Gus, and it's beautiful."

Dubbed as one sick love story, "The Fault In Our Stars" is an emotionally draining movie that will send anyone to tears, ask the millions of fans who are waiting for the highly-anticipated movie. According to the actor, filming the movie is emotionally draining since they have to cry all the time.

So when asked what's their favorite emotional scene, Shailene revealed that is was during the eulogy scene. "One of them was this eulogy scene and Ansel was sitting there with pale makeup on and even though he was off screen, he was crying with me or he was locked into my eyes, and to have him in that position and to see him in that vulnerable state was really emotional because it felt so real," she said in an interview with Parade.

Now that shooting is over, the two stars are moving on with the next project and is now busy filming "Insurgent" which is due to hit the big screen next year. "The Fault In Our Sars" is scheduled to premiere on June 6.
