Did Scarlett really call on the FBI to look into her phone hacking and photo leaking cases online?

If she did, she must really want to do something about the one responsible for all the scandal it has brought within the past 24 hours.

After her mobile phone was allegedly hacked and her nude photos reportedly spread on the internet, Iron Man 2 actress Scarlett Johansson has apparently called the FBI to investigate.

But did the FBI take the case seriously?

Online rants against FBI's supposed decision to look into the hacking are now on gossip and blog sites, with users broadcasting different sentiments about the matter. "Way to prioritize, FBI!" says one online user.

TMZ reports that according to their sources, Johansson believes that leaking her naked photos online was a criminal act.

In a Reuters report, FBI spokeswoman Ari Dekofsky confirmed that the agency is indeed investigating the person or group responsible for hacking into the phones of celebrities.

However Dekofsky said that, "due to it being an ongoing investigation, we are not at liberty to confirm specific victims or a number of victims."

No one has so far denied that the leaked photos were fake or edited to make it look like it was Johansson. One photo shows Johansson in a towel taking photo of her back's reflection in a full body bathroom mirror. The other photo shows her topless in bed, and it seems she herself took the photo.

Forum Phun.org user "Ramistheman," who uses the same alias on Twitter, was the first to tweet about the nude photos of Scarlett.

"Scarlett Johansson nudes leaked. This is seriously happening :)," wrote Ramistheman, who used Ryan McVey as his real name on the social network. In another tweet, McVey says he found the pictures "in a few forums," though he does not give any web site name.

Johansson's nude pictures are the latest to spread on the internet as reports spread that Mila Kunis' photos with Justin Timberlake will soon become viral, too. Previously, explicit pictures of Jessica Alba and Vanessa Hudgens also spread like wild fire on the net.
