FBI Investigates Death Threats Directed At Kris Jenner And Kardashian Family
The Kardashian-Jenner clan has been needing police assistance more often than they would want in the past year. After a series of burglaries that hit the family, the showbiz clan's matriarch Kris Jenner is now reportedly involved in an FBI investigation relating to a woman suspected of sending her death threats.
According to reports by showbiz website TMZ, a hotel room in the Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel has been raided by the FBI in connection with complaints from the Kardashian-Jenner family. The hotel room's occupant is reportedly a black female who is suspected to have been making numerous calls to Kris Jenner and threatening to endanger her life.
No arrests have reportedly been made but several gadgets were confiscated from said hotel room. The woman's laptop computer, iPad, iPod Touch and mobile phone were taken by the FBI agents and will be subjected to further investigation. The same woman is suspected to have been behind threats to release a sex tape starring Kris and Bruce Jenner which had been previously mentioned in episodes of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." The woman reportedly harasses Kris and her family through numerous calls sometimes reaching up to 300 times in a single day. Not many other details were revealed about the woman except that she drives a silver Toyota Corolla.
Apart from the harassment, the family had been needing police assistance in several other matters. Kris was also victimized by thieves when she flew to Vienna, Austria with Kim earlier this year. Her suitcases were opened and hundreds of thousands worth of shoes, bags and other valuable items were taken. Back in Los Angeles, both her daughters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian's homes were burglarized in the past year. Khloe's incident was documented in a recent episode of their reality show where she discovered pieces of her ex-husband Lamar Odom's jewellery had gone missing from their bedroom. Kourtney's house in California was burglarized as well and the most recent incident involved $4,000 in cash disappearing from the home she was staying in for the summer at The Hamptons with her partner Scott Disick and their two children.
None of the cases have yet been resolved but this recent development at least shows some steps are being taken into stopping the harassment that has been plaguing the family. The investigation into the robberies might reportedly cause a delay in the production of the next season on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" unless production crew members are cleared.
