Fiat Viaggio Leaked Ahead of Beijing Motor Show
Three teaser shots of the new Fiat Viaggio have been leaked ahead of the car's official debut at this month's Beijing motor show.
The images - first published by Russian website Auto Blog - confirm the Dodge Dart-based Fiat Viaggio will have its own distinct style.
The front-end features a unique grille, bumper, lip spoiler, headlights and fog lights while the rear details are even more removed from its American sibling.
The taillights are separated by a boot lid design that incorporates new reflectors, a chrome strip across its width and space for the number plate instead of the Dodge Dart's rear bumper location.
Chrome highlights also appear around the grille, fog lights and window surrounds.
Reports suggest the Viaggio will be powered by Fiat's turbocharged 1.4-litre four-cylinder T-Jet engine, potentially in two states of tune: one with 88kW and 207Nm, the other with 112kW and 230Nm. A third engine option could be Fiat's 1.4-litre MultiAir unit, tuned to produce 119kW and 250Nm.
As previously reported by CarAdvice, a right-hand-drive version of either the Dodge Dart or Fiat Viaggio is technically possible but unconfirmed for production at this stage.
