Fidel Castro Calls NATO Neo Nazis, Suggests Islamic State Is The Baby Of Israel’s Mossad
Even as NATO is holding its summit in UK's Wales to grapple with the new security threats, Cuba's former leader Fidel Castro has chosen the occasion to lash out at the NATO military representatives and called them Nazi faced.
Castro also alleged that Israel's Mossad was the brain behind the Islamic State movement. He went on to assail U.S. Senator John McCain for the United States policy in Middle East and called him "Israel's trusted ally."
These comments were carried in a column published by Cuban state media named Cuba Debate. Castros's comments were translated into English by Russia Today. The Cuban leader wrote that the world was having little respite, ever since the European Economic Community under the leadership of the United States started settling scores with two great nations of Russia and China, for challenging their imperialist colonial order imposed on the world. Castro charged the West with "cynicism", which is a symbol of imperialism, according to the English version carried in the World Jewish Congress website.
ISIS Was Created By Mossad
Castro also targeted McCain, the 2008 Republican presidential candidate. He alleged that McCain supported Israel's Mossad and participated in the creation of the Islamic State, which is now controlling considerable portions of Iraq and Syria.
Castigating NATO, Castro said the alliance and representatives were like Nazis. People have been shocked to hear the kind of statements made by NATO spokesmen with a style and face akin to Nazis.
Castro reminded NATO that Adolf Hitler's greed-based empire crashed without leaving any trace of glory. Similarly, the encouragement provided to NATO by aggressive and bourgeois governments will only make it a laughing stock in Europe and elsewhere in the world.
McCain Tweet
Reacting to Castro, McCain said he was amused at the accusation. He tweeted by thanking Fidel Castro for exposing his secret role in shaping world events! "First it was Vladimir Putin who bracketed me for sanctions and then ISIS labelled me as the enemy, now it is Fidel Castro! Who is next?", McCain added.
After stepping down as president of Cuba in 2008, the communist leader handed over the reins of power to brother Raúl Castro, in 2011.
Living with a health crisis, Castro has been spending time in writing and receiving foreign dignitaries.
