FIFA Confederations Cup 2013: Brazil's Domination Might Come To End Against South American Neighbor - Reasons for Concern!
Brazil has been spectacular in three matches in the 2013 Confederation Cup. With soccer phenom Neymar living to his hype as the next best thing in football, the Seleção have already established themselves as the huge favourites for next year's FIFA Word Cup.
But football is always exciting because of its ability to produce the unthinkable. Upsets can happen in a blink of an eye. And for Brazil, that could happen sooner than later when they face a likely semi-finalist in Uruguay.
Brazil, with all the talents and incredible plays they have, has one weak spot in its mantle of invincibility - the lack of experience. Almost 50 perc ent of Brazil's roster are below 25 years old and have just started to play together as a unit recently. Of course, the talent level is undeniably abundant in this Brazilian squad, but a veteran coach should know that not all soccer matches are won by sheer talent alone.
Uruguay, on the other hand, has a collection of gritty and experienced players who have already went through several battles together. The attacking tandem of Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez still makes wonders for the Uruguayan side, which pushed Spain to the limit in their first game and stunned Nigeria down the stretch.
Defense and great ball movement will be keys for Uruguay to pull off an upset against Brazil before an expected huge crowd at Estádio Mineirão, Belo Horizonte. However, if Brazil comes through with a victory against Uruguay, there's any reason why they cannot beat Spain in the finals and bag the morale-boosting Confederation Cup title.
