‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Casting News: Matt Bomer Reveals He Was Not Offered the Christian Grey Role [PHOTOS]
Fan favorite Matt Bomer in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie casting polls revealed in a recent interview that he has not been offered the famous Christian Grey role ever since the hype on the upcoming film began. Is the hunky actor telling the truth or just teasing his fans because he is hiding something?
Matt Bomer confirmed that the upcoming film's producers have not approached him to offer the male lead character of Christian Grey. "Did you ask whether I've been approached to play the part? No," Bomer stated.
However, the 35-year-old actor expressed his delight and gratitude to the fans that root for him as the perfect Christian Grey. "I'm incredibly flattered by and grateful for the response, for sure, but yeah, I guess that's all I can say about that," Bomer further added.
What Matt Bomer confirmed to his fans is the possibility of reprising his role as a male stripper for the "Magic Mike" movie sequel with actors Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello and Matthew McConaughey.
"I think there are a lot of pieces that need to fall into place for it to actually happen but it would be fun to get together with everybody again," the actor explained.
"We became a band of brothers really because we all knew we were entering into something that was really scary and out of our comfort zone for the most part and so every body just rose up and supported each other," the actor further shared.
In the mean time, Matt Bomer is currently busy working on the third season of "White Collar" on the satellite channel Alibi. Matt portrays a con man the FBI hired to help in solving white-collar crimes in order for his prison sentence to be lowered.
