'Fifty Shades of Grey:' E.L. James Praises Dakota Johnson as her Anastasia Steele, Calls her "Beautiful and Talented" [PHOTO]
"Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L. James has accepted Dakota Johnson as her Anastasia Steele and she has a picture to prove it too. The author of the most popular fictional novel, which will soon be turned into a motion picture, was hanging out with Johnson in New York on Sunday.
The 23-year-old Johnson, who will be playing the role of Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of the hugely successful book, also met up with the producer of her movie Dana Brunetti. Johnson is seen wearing a dark blue - black check shirt teamed up with black pants and her sunglasses left hanging on her shirt. The soon-to-be Ana in the movie looked fresh faced and cute in a sun-hat, which covered her wavy blonde hair.
James seemed impressed with the beauty and talent of Johnson in the meeting and called the actress "beautiful and talented." She also seemed impressed with the sense of humor that Johnson has as the author calling her "funny as feck."
"The beautiful, talented, funny as feck, Dakota Johnson. Oh and that bloke @danabrunetti," E.L. wrote on her Twitter account.
Dakota Johnson and actor Charlie Hunnam were announced as the leads in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie which is the adaptation of the popular novel by the same name and has a strong fan base. Hardcore fans of the novel showed their angst and disagreement at the choice of actors to play the most cherished roles for the movie.
However EL James seemed to like the star cast and expressed a thank you note to all her supporters and also the ones who hated the choice.
"To all the supporters, lovers and haters - thank you so much for the passion that you have for this project. You all rock. All of you. ?" she had tweeted earlier at the time of announcement.
Contrary to all her loyal fans who expressed their dissatisfaction at the choice of actors, James has always been a supporter. "The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey," she tweeted on the day of announcement.
"I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey," another tweet of her read.
