'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Fans Not Happy With Choice Of Rita Ora As Christian Grey's Sister Mia Grey
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" fans have never been content with the choice of actors to play various roles in the movie of the novel. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have earlier received their share of criticism for playing the role of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Now it is the turn of other actors to bear the brunt. The latest one to face the criticism is Rita Ora who has been roped in to play the role of Mia Grey, Christian's sister.
The 26-year-old blonde actress and singer has donned a new avatar of a brunette for the movie's character. The "Black Widow" songstress is seen supporting a really short bob haircut with bangs on the forehead. Check out her photo from the movie here. There has been a strong criticism for the role of Rita Ora as Christian Grey's sister Mia Grey with many fans saying that she "looks old" and does not suit the character in the book.
"The cast its a complete failure...the cast they all look old. Especially Mia!!! What part of "little sister" didn't they understand??? All this wait for nothing," writes Edith Tenoco in the comments section of the Facebook page where the picture is revealed.
Other fans are commenting on Rita's choice of clothes and her hairstyle, which according to them are not in accordance with E.L James novel on which the book is based.
The Facebook page also revealed the first ever poster of Eloise Mumford in the role of Anastasia's best friend Kate Kavanagh. Mumford is seen working on her laptop wearing a simple white t-shirt and a black jacket. Her blonde tresses fall all over her shoulders carelessly. Fans of the novel are not happy with the choice of Eliose too as they believe the actual character in the novel by E.L. James has strawberry blonde hair and not golden blonde as depicted in the movie's poster, which can be seen here. The fans also believe that Kate's character is far more attractive than Anastasia's character and Eliose does not do justice to it.
Academy Award winning actress Marcia Gay Harden plays the role of Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey, who is Christian's mom and actor Andrew Airlie is Carrick Grey, the protagonist's dad. The fans do not have much to complain about Harden and Arilie's casting as Grey's parents. Check out Grey's father here and mother's picture here.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" is scheduled to release on Feb 13, 2015 in the U.S. and in the U.K.
