"Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James has attracted another celebrity, who also has a huge following across generations. Star Trek actor and legendary personality George Takei lends his voice to "Fifty Shades," drawing giggles and laughter as he reads "Oh, my!"

In his natural deep bass voice, Takei reads excerpts of "Fifty Shades," while making funny reactions to key parts.

"My friend Gilbert Gottfried recorded a promotion for 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' the best-selling erotic novel. Many fans insisted I'd enjoy a special connection to the book, and that I ought to do an audio narration for it," Takei states at the beginning of the video.

"I was intrigued. So I grabbed a copy to see what all the fuss was about," Takei continues.

The excerpts featured in the hilarious video are some of the steamiest parts, which are punctuated by James' frequent use of the expression, "Oh, my!"

Takei's comedic reading delighted sci-fi fans of the original "Star Trek" series and "Heroes," in which he played Hikaru Sulu and Kaito Nakamura, respectively.

A promotion for Takei's e-book called "Oh Myyy!" appears towards the end of the clip. Amazon.com describes the book as a "groundbreaking, hilarious and informative book" which "recounts [Takei's] experiences on platforms such as Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, where fans and pundits alike have crowned him King."
