"Fifty Shades of Grey" casting rumours have been all over the internet even before filming rights were sealed with erotic series author E.L. James. Emma Watson, Keira Knightley and Mila Kunis are three of the actresses who have expressed they are definitely not playing the female lead, Anastasia Steele. Emilia Clarke, for her part, has not yet issued an official statement on casting rumours. Why not Emilia for the controversial role?

Fifty Shades of Grey Movie: 5 reasons why Emilia Clarke would make a convincing Anastasia Steele:

1. Enigmatic beauty. Emilia's face speaks of a multitude of emotions. With a "make-under" style and make-up, Emilia is not likely to quickly catch a lot of male attention in a public place. But she could pull in any character who'd spend a little time with her. Skinny and simple Anastasia Steele had this effect on gorgeous sex demigod Christian Grey.

2. Stellar acting performance. As a very young Daenerys Targaryen in the first season of HBO's Game of Thrones, she was not secure of her allure and beauty. She was sexually innocent, reluctant to embrace the ways of the world. Emilia was so compelling in her GOT portrayal, and she will be as excellent in Fifty Shades of Grey.

3. Solid TV following. Emilia Clarke has her own following over the Game of Thrones series. Her fans will line-up to see her in a very different, even more daring and risqué role.

4. Easy chemistry. Emilia will look great with any actor who gets to play Christian Grey -- Stephen Amell, Matt Bomer, Ian Somerhalder, or Henry Cavill.

5. Youthful vibe. Any actress who gets to play Ana should look believably young and unadulterated, especially at the beginning of the film trilogy. Emilia can pull this off naturally, as if the role is really meant for her.
