‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Movie: Alexandra Daddario as Anastasia Steele?
White Collar’s Kate thinks Matt Bomer is convincing as a straight man
White Collar's Alexandra Daddario is one of the new favorites to play Anastacia Steele in what has been planned as the film adaptation of EL James's erotic trilogy "Fifty Shades of Grey."
"Fifty Shades of Grey" producers have yet to anyone for the roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. But fans won't stop speculating. Who could be the best celebrities to work on the film adaptation of EL James' erotic trilogy?
Daddario had a recurring role in White Collar. She played the role of Kate, Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer)'s ultimate true love.
Wetpaint recently caught up with Daddario in New York. The entertainment news outlet asked Daddario whether Bomer does a good job as a straight man in the series.
"Yes, he does. He definitely does," said Daddario.
Daddario is no stranger to "Fifty Shades of Grey" although she said she has yet to read the book. Wetpaint named some of the most popular fan choices for Christian Grey. Who would Alexandra prefer in case she gets Ana's role?
"Oh my god! I mean that's sort of like the crème de la crème of men. Pretty much anybody, I guess!"
"I love Alexander Skarsgard, I love Matt Bomer. Really anyone. There are so many talented, great people out there," she said.
White Collar's Kate and Neal on Fifty Shades of Grey?
Alexandra Daddario can be a strong contender for the role of Anastasia Steele. Gilmore Girls' Alexis Bledel is not far behind. They both carry the mysterious-and-intense vibe that would attract Christian Grey.
In case Matt Bomer would land the role of Christian Grey, Alexandra can quickly become the more popular choice for Ana's role. After all, Matt and Alexandra have already proven a potentially explosive sexual chemistry on White Collar.
Now, how's the 'Fifty Shades' film's script coming along? It would just be nice to put a closure on the casting updates.
