'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Casting: Adam Levine as Christian Grey [PHOTOS]
"Fifty Shades of Grey" film is yet to start the casting let alone auditions. However, fans of the BDSM-themed film haven't stopped speculating on a cast. In fact, the latest name added to the list of potential actors who could play Christian Grey is none other than Maroon 5's frontman, Adam Levine.
Adam Levine as everyone knows isn't an actor but judging from all the music videos Levine has sung and starred in, this guy can definitely act. The Maroon 5 frontman showed off his acting chops as well in the second season of "American Horror Story: Asylum." With the bands' recent release of "Love Somebody's" music video, Levine has attracted the attention of "Fifty Shades" fans.
"Fifty Shades of Grey... Literally," stated Facebook user MannyEmZee, while another added, "If Fifty Shades of Grey was a movie, this would be it."
Certainly enough, Levine has the fan base to support him if he does manage to nab the role of Christian Grey. Yet, Levine has tough competition in a few fan favourites for the role of Grey of which include Henry Cavill, Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder.
Of course, Universal Studios and Focus Features are left to decide if Levine also has the chops for the role. Now, what would E.L. James say of Adam Levine added to the mix? Levine joins Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Hugh Dancy in the latest list of celebrities named as potentials for the role of Grey.
