Halfway through 2013 and still no official cast for the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" has been announced. Given a director has already been signed on to direct the film, Universal Studios and Focus Features are keeping the news about the cast let alone auditions completely under wraps. Well, if casting is a problem then here's a woman that is sure to be the perfect Anastasia Steele.

Fans of E.L. James best-selling erotica novel continue to speculate on a potential cast for the film adaptation. Over a hundred stars have already been named as possible actors and actresses for the lead role of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Yet, the production studio in charge of the film is apparently taking their time with the casting let alone auditions.

With the film set to debut in theatres by August 2014, finding stars for the lead roles is certainly a must. To date, the strongest contenders for the role of Christian Grey are Robert Pattinson of "Twilight" and Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries."

On the other hand, the favourites for the role of Anastasia Steele vary each day. From Alexis Bledel ot Melissa Benoist, numerous names have been mentioned online. However, no one has managed to beat the strongest contender, Emilia Clarke.

Emilia Clarke has long been a fan favourite for the role of Anastasia Steele. The "Game of Thrones" actress has been named the most suitable star for the role. With Emilia's knack for showing off her assets onscreen, getting down and dirty won't likely be a problem.
