'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Casting: Jordana Brewster as Anastasia Steele [PHOTOS]
From 'Fast & the Furious' to 'Fast & Fifty Shades'
Another brunette has joined the "Fifty Shades of Grey" casting bandwagon. "Fast & the Furious" star, Jordana Brewster expressed interest in the S&M role. The big question is the brunette beauty the perfect star to play the role of Anastasia Steele opposite Christian Grey?
Almost halfway through July and still no news about an official cast for the film adaptation of E.L. James best-selling erotica novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey." Fans of "Fifty" had hoped for a cast since the announcement of Sam Taylor-Johnson signing on board as director last month. However, it seems as if additional patience is needed for the wait.
Rumours of casting continue to spread like wildfire on the web. Still, E.L. James has remained mum through it all. Of course, in a recent interview, James did mention that she had boiled down her Christian Grey choices into three while her choices for Anastasia Steele slim down to two. Could a third possibility for the role of Anastasia Steele arise?
If so, Jordana Brewster of "Fast and the Furious" could play the part. The brunette beauty did express interest in the role. Given Jordana's sensual covers for GQ and Maxim, baring the essential "assets" won't be much of a problem. In fact, Jordana finds it "fun" to play something risqué.
"It is fun to play something a little more risque," said Brewster in an interview with Enstarz, adding, "I recently did something similar in 'North of Hell,' and it's actually quite liberating. 'Fifty Shades' would be a fun role to get into."
Brewster may not be the only actress in Hollywood having expressed interest in the role of Ana but she sure is the newest actress to join the mix. Yet, getting the role of Ana might be tough given Jordana's competition are strong contenders namely Emilia Clarke, Alexis Bledel, Allison Williams and Melissa Benoist.
