Former Disney star, Selena Gomez had been eyed since late last year for the role of Anastasia Steele in the highly anticipated film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." However, the Latina singer had already expressed no interest in the film. Yet, with the latest news that Gomez is ready to go nude onscreen, could this be the best opportunity to take on the role of Ana?

In hopes of advancing her film career, Selena Gomez is ready to take on nude roles. The former Disney star is definitely ready to shed her good girl image. Judging from Selena's post-Disney flick, "Spring Breakers", Gomez is halfway through the bad ass image.

"Now that Selena is growing up to be a more serious actress and separating herself from her Disney past, she has no problem going topless if the role calls for it," said the source to Hollywood Life, adding, "Without a doubt, Selena would go topless in a film if the role was right."

Maybe Selena Gomez should reconsider the S&M role of Anastasia Steele once again. Given the film has more nude and topless scenes Selena may find the film "Fifty Shades of Grey" a bit too overwhelming. Of course, while a few fans of "Fifty" agree to Gomez getting cast as Ana, some aren't too happy with the proposal.

Selena Gomez once again joins the bandwagon of celebrities eyed for the role. As of late, the strongest contender is still Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones." Other fan favourites include Alexis Bledel, Allison Williams, Melissa Benoist and Alison Brie.
