Fifty Shades of Grey movie production outfit has yet to announce its Christian Grey casting, but a popular choice for the role has already declared he's not going to play the role. It appears he made up his mind after reading one book from E.L. James' erotic series.

"Arrow" lead Stephen Amell has previously hinted interest on the role, but recently changed his mind. How about "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford - would he announce the same thing if he really knew Christian Grey?

"Was on a flight yesterday evening back to LA with no movie, so I grabbed 50 Shades of Grey and burned through it," Amell posted to his Facebook page. "Ummm... I hope they get the movie made, and I'm sure someone will be excellent in it. That person will not be me."

Amell did not elaborate why he appears to have his closed his 'Fifty Shades' doors. It is, however, implied that his choice is related to how the book made its impression on him. Prior to reading the book, the actor with gorgeous abs was singing a different Christian Grey tune. He said being cast on the FSOG movie is an "opportunity."

"I mean if you think about it, it would be four movies, the last part being two parts. I don't even own a house yet. So I don't think that I'd be turning that down any time soon," Amell told Wetpaint in an August interview.

Chace Crawford, meanwhile, was a bit more enthusiastic about the Grey role.

"Hey, if they ask me to come and read, I would definitely do so. I don't even know what the character is like; I haven't read anything or heard anything about it," Crawford told FOX411 in February. Having been told the movie is going to be risqué, he said he doesn't mind.

"I am only comfortable with S&M sex scenes! The other ones are just too simple and boring for me," he joked.

"I actually think, whether it is a sex scene, or screaming at something to get something across. I think it is kind of attacked the same way, and you're in the work mode, and you stay professional. It has never been awkward or intimidating," Crawford added. Could this celebrity hottie change his attitude toward Christian Grey once he's read the book, too?

Another popular TV actor who is really interested in being cast as Christian Grey is "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder. Unlike Amell and Crawford, Somerhalder appears to have read the book, and knows exactly what he's agreeing to - should an offer officially arrive.
