Universal Studios and Focus Features are yet to cast actors and actresses for the upcoming film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Of course, leave it to fans of E.L. James best-selling novel to name potential Hollywood celebrities for the role. However, E.L. James had stated she had wanted someone unknown to play the role. Could male models such as Devin Paisley nab the role as Christian Grey?

Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill are quite popular in the business not only as potential stars to play Christian Grey but in their own television stints. While these big three consistently make it to the fan favourite list, chances of them being cast in the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades" could be slim. According to E.L. James, the author plans on giving the role of Christian and Anastasia to a less popular celebrity. Does this mean that even models could nab the role?

Ironically, that would be so given one popular male model has made it to the list of possible stars to play Christian Grey. Who would this be? It would be none other than South African model, Devin Paisley. With the chiselled jaw and dark-brooding eyes, the 27-year old model has been greatly considered to play the 27-year old entrepreneur.
