'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie: Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson Meet With Author E.L. James
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have officially met with Author E.L. James for production on "Fifty Shades of Grey." Well, that is what the photo suggests of which James had tweeted over the weekend. Thanks to such tweet, fans are all the more hyped to see their Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in action. What else should fans expect?
"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans were sent into frenzy after E.L. James tweeted a photo of Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan in their iconic character shoes. Obviously, Jamie and Dakota were "stepping" up into the character of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele respectively.
On November 8, the author of the best-selling erotica novel uploaded two photos of Jamie and Dakota. The first photo showed Jamie in Grey's iconic brown boots and Dakota in Ana's grey, pointed toe flats. The second photo showed the iconic Converse look of Ana and the business shoes of Grey. Such photos led fans to believe that the film stars are finally prepping up and getting into character for production.
Almost all the lead parts have been handed out. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson officially play the part of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele respectively. Anastasia's mom will be portrayed by Jennifer Ehle of "Zero Dark Thirty." Christian Grey's brother, Elliot Grey, will be played by Luke Grimes. The photographer Joe is set to be played by Victor Rasuk.
No word as to who is set to play Anastasia's best friend and roommate, Kate Kavanagh, and Christian Grey's bodyguard. Over the weekend, Katie Holmes was rumoured to be part of the "Fifty Shades" cast.
Despite the shakeup with regards to casting, the production is scheduled to begin on December 8 with the release scheduled for August 1, 2014.Reports claim that the first trailer for "Fifty Shades of Grey" is set to debut on February at the Super Bowl.
British director Sam Taylor-Johnson is at the helm of production with Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and E.L. James as the film's' producers. Kelly Marcel had helmed the script of the BDSM-themed novel. With only a few weeks left to go, it'll be a matter of time until the social media blows up with everything "Fifty Shades."
