'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie: Rita Ora Finally Joins Cast in Vancouver
Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan have been quite busy filming a few racy scenes on the set of "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie. Now, the fun is to be joined in by none other than the "How We Do" singer, Rita Ora. The British singer who plays Mia grey flew all the way to Canada to film scenes with Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
Well, it looks like all the fun Jamie Dornan had while playing Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson is about to cut short. His sister, Mia Grey played by Rita Ora, is set to join in on the set. The latter was spotted carrying her luggage through the Canadian airport early this week. Rita's arrival at the scene comes as no surprise as her casting was announced early in December of the year 2013.
"It's official! I've been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian's sister Mia. #FiftyShades," tweeted Rita on her official Twitter account, Monday, Dec. 2.
Joining Rita Ora on the set is actress Kristin Chenoweth but fans won't see her anywhere in the scenes. The latter will only be heading out to Vancouver to visit her beloved beau, Dana Brunetti, who is currently producing the film alongside director Sam Taylor-Wood and author E.L. James.
"I'll go visit him in a couple of weeks," said Chenoweth in an interview with E! Online, adding, "I've read the books. I was on tour and I was cutting out encores just so I could get home and read them. It was like, 'No second encore tonight-I have to get through chapter seven!'"
Other stars starring in the film include Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey, Marcia Gay Harden as Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey, Eloise Mumford as Kate Kavanagh, Victor Rasuk as Jose and Max Martini as Christian Grey's bodyguard.
With the scenes just having begun to film in Vancouver, it'll be a star-studded event. For those who still haven't heard of "Fifty Shades of Grey," the film was adapted from E.L. James best-selling erotica trilogy. The film stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. "Fifty Shades" is set to hit the big screen on February 2015.
