"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie production is moving forward, even at what seems to be insanely slow turtle pace for impatient Grey fans. The latest tweets among FSOG prod people indicate the film script may have been completed already. But a recent interview with FSOG series author E.L. James suggested her Christian Grey "may not be who people expect." Considering this, if the choice is between Matt Bomer and Stephen Amell, which actor do people normally expect to play Mr Grey?

It seems Amell and the other not-so-popular Grey candidates have a better chance than poll leaders at snagging the most coveted Grey role.

Fifty Shades of Movie Casting Polls No Effect to E.L. James?

Speaking to Page Six, James sounded like all the Fifty Shades casting polls and fan-made movie posters (or magazine covers) did not influence her at all. Fans of the FSOG books and the upcoming erotic romance film have something to think about.

Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen in The CW's "Arrow" series, is one of the latest choices to come up in social network polls. But for a long time since last year, the polls have been topped by Matt Bomer, Ian Somerhalder, and Henry Cavill. Now Ms James just sort of eliminated all three of the popular Grey favorites.

Which actors other than Amell have the Grey-like vibe and quality that could have pulled in E.L. James? If you're all about FSOG cast guessing game, consider Ms James' statement. She may not be the lone decision-maker in who to cast for the Fifty Shades movie, but she definitely has a say on that.

Fifty Shades of Grey Movie: Stephen Amell is 'Willing and Able'

"Willing and able" is one of Oliver Queen's most important lines in the latest episode of Arrow. In a previous interview, Amell was not shy about expressing his eagerness for the Christian Grey role. Matt Bomer took the "no comment" route. Ian Somerhalder more than simply hinted a strong interest to play Grey. Henry Cavill thought he'd react when the time and situation is appropriate, but he never said never. As for Amell, this is what he told Wetpaint:

"(I)f you think about it, it would be four movies, the last part being two parts. I don't even own a house yet. So I don't think that I'd be turning that down any time soon."
